THE DUBLIN CRAWL Q&A: Young Wonder

THE DUBLIN CRAWL Q&A: Young Wonder

This Cork duo of Ian Ring and Rachel Koeman arrived onto the blogosphere this year with an EP filled with huge-sounding electronic pop anthems and the assistance of video extraordinaires Feel Good Lost. We are delighted to have Young Wonder make their Dublin debut this Friday at Camden Crawl, expect to be impressed aurally and visually too..

Had you ever heard of Camden Crawl before? What did you hear?

I heard that once a grown man drank 109 beers there and survived to tell the tale.

Why do you think Dublin is a good place for the festival?

The bus from Cork stops there.

If the band were to appear live on any US television series, which would it be?
That’s too easy. It has to be Breaking Bad. What a show! I would totally love to be a drug lord for a day and kill Jessy!  He’s so annoying!

What one instrument that isn't part of your line-up do you secretly wish was?

A marimba, a great percussive instrument strongly associated with Mexico.

Describe your sound in 10 words or less:

It’s like you stepped into a box filled with dreams.

What is the most interesting event the band has planned for 2012?

Our yearly band trip to Estonia. Oh and  Castlepalooza!

Tipple of choice?

Tipple sounds like nipple, heh.
